In
a crisis such as an unexpected pregnancy,
you may feel desperate or emotional
or confused. When no-one knows your
pain it can be lonely and frightening.
Answers aren’t simple, especially
if you’re feeling pressure to go in
one way or another. You may feel very
vulnerable and need to be wanted,
accepted and supported. Your ability
to make decisions will be affected.

There are things you can do to help yourself at this time.
Give yourself time – Before making the decision, give yourself
time to consider your feelings. Talk to someone who can listen, care and
not push his or her own interests and fears.
Gather information –
Find out about the alternatives available to you. Take time to think
each one through and decide what is important to you.
These are only general suggestions. You should always seek outside
help if you are unsure about what to do.
If you need to talk to someone right now you can call Open Doors on
